Social Responsibility
Impacting Our Community
Nutrition and Basic Needs
There are over 115,000 homeless people in California. Homelessness is a complex issue influenced by several factors including but not limited to financial hardship, mental illness, substance abuse and domestic violence.
At Confirm, our nutrition and basic needs program provides food to individuals impacted by homelessness. A few of our initiatives include:
- Food Drives
- Meal Servings
- Basic Needs Drives
Adopt-a-Family
Locally in San Diego, where our headquarters is, there are many low-income families. During the holiday season, we partner with Interfaith Community Services for their Adopt-a-Family program, where we give back to those in need by adopting a family and providing them with basic need items and wish list presents.
Volunteer Work
In addition to serving with Interfaith Community Health Services, we work with other various organizations in town including the Rotary Club of San Diego, Kids4Community and San Diego Coastkeeper to help our local community. We are proud to provide our team members with three days of paid volunteer time off each year.
